Thames Creek is a beautiful waterway flowing through thick temperate coastal rainforest with old-growth trees. Nestled within the traditional territories of the Pentlatch, Qualicum, and K'ómoks First Nations, the creek is shrouded by old-growth Douglas firs and Western red cedars. It's an active salmon-spawning corridor, and the area is heavily protected by regional watershed restoration strategies. Hikers can take trails hugging the creek banks to view a series of emerald green pools, waterfalls, and flora like wild mushrooms.
