Gravel riding
The lake is located at an altitude of about 1,100 meters and is an artificial reservoir created in the 1980s by the construction of a dam. It serves primarily for hydropower generation and as a drinking water reservoir. The lake is surrounded by dense forests, mountains, and untouched nature. In the background, the Călimani Massif with its volcanic peaks towers. On the shore, there are campsites and picnic areas, making it ideal for a picnic with a view of the lake or an overnight stay in a tent.
