Used to be part of my regular commute. You've made it all the way up from the "S" hill - bonus kudos if you didn't step off your bike. Keep going and head to Inwood Hill Park!

This park is a unique treasure and a living testament to history, remaining undeveloped amidst the bustling New York City. Evidence of this can be seen in its caves, valleys, and ridges. Be sure to keep watch, as it's one of the best spots in the city to spot a bald eagle.

The Washington Bridge is impressive. Located in the Bronx. You can and should ride your bike over it. But if possible don't be afraid of heights! Only the entry is a little complicated with the bike. Please take a close look beforehand. The rest of the route is then nice routine. A lot of people on the promenade (at least on public holidays). The lawns are packed with all sorts of people, chilling, grilling and partying. Nice to see.

Iconic building straight out of a picture book. Even if the approach to the bridge from here is a little complicated, the detour to the lighthouse is worthwhile.

A park with a playground, public tennis courts and toilets. View of the Washington Bridge and over to Fort Lee.

A dreamy place to stay. A bit noisy due to the bridge over one, but there are nice views of Upper Manhattan and Jersey City, as well as up the Hudson towards Sleepy Hollow.
