With a short walk through the old town of Annecy....
The head is off. There is too much René again and that is going to come off again.
The starting point is a free parking lot that directly leads onto the course. We started at 8:30 a.m. to avoid the heat.
The east side of the lake is very pleasant, green track from Doussard to Annecy along the lake. The west side is a little further from the lake, crossed by villages next to cars on cycle path but also on road... to do again, we would do a round trip on the east side
I cycled around the entire lake on Whit Monday. Luckily, there was limited bicycle traffic. But the prices in the restaurants and bistros are pretty steep, and with more tourists, the prices also rise. 🫣🤷♂️🤷♀️🚴♂️🚴
A nice day ride with a visit to the centre of Annecy. Easier clockwise because of the hill in Talloires.
To start the holiday on 🇫🇷Lac d'Annecy, first explore the previously unknown area, and what could be better than simply circling the lake. Planned and done. Impressions see the photos. Annecy in particular is a beautiful little town with great flair, especially in the area near the lake where the le Thiou flows like a canal through the city - that has Venetian charm. The lake circumnavigation is to be driven entirely on cycle paths, which are really very well developed!
A more enjoyable ride going in the opposite direction to yesterday's ride
