The Bettlackstock is a mountain upstream of the Jura main ridge. It is today a nature reserve. The alp has not been cultivated since 1985 and the farmhouse, which has not been inhabited for decades, was restored in 2014. Now nature will be left safe again. Only a narrow path leads from the earlier buildings to the highest point at 1298m. It's worth taking this little detour. The view over the natural Alp and the Mittelland is beautiful and makes you really relax. Spectacular on the way also the view down to Bettlachberg.
