Cycling
The name comes from the former lords of Villiers, the Moriers, and developed mainly in the 13th century. Villiers-le-Morhier experienced significant growth between the end of the 19th century and the middle of the 20th century, thanks to the existence of a railway line that connected Auneau-Ville to Dreux via the neighboring town of Maintenon.
