There is a spot to sit at the end of the Coal Mine Trail. South of here, the trail continues as singletrack instead of the wide dirt road from the trailhead. If you continue down the singletrack into the field, you can see rubble from the historic site of the old Kananaskis Coal Mine (1947-1952).
