The Kastro Cafe (also known as „To Kastro" or „The Castle") is located very close to the entrance of the fortress.
The cafe is usually open daily from 09:30 to 18:30, but on Mondays only until 16:30. On Tuesdays, the cafe remains closed.
Particularly praised are the homemade cakes, such as the butter-pecan ice cake, the lime pie (Lime Pie), or the carrot cake. Hearty Greek dishes such as Meatballs, Prawn Saganaki, and Moussaka are also on the menu.
