In 1787, Baroness Anna Katharina von Müller had this rectory built for the clergy of her estate community. The fact that it turned out larger than comparable rectories was probably because the Baroness had intended the upper floor as her retirement residence once she had handed over the management of the estate. However, this did not happen: Anna Katharina von Müller died while still the owner of the estate.
