The current palace was designed by the architects Garabed Amira Balyan[1] and his son Nigoğayos Balyan on behalf of Sultan Abdülmecid I and built between 1856 and 1857. The sultans only came here for excursions and returned the same day. Therefore, there is not a single bed in this luxurious excursion palace.
