Hiking
De Put is a beautiful fishing water. In the middle of the 19th century (around 1865) this pond was created because the excavated sand was used to raise the new railway line Venlo – Eindhoven. At the beginning of the dam over the Put there is a bat tunnel and a sand martin wall has been constructed. The kingfisher has also been spotted here.
A beautiful biotope was also created here: a toad pond.
