Hi Lorenzo, if I may I would like to ask you for information about horseflies; I saw that you cycled in July, can you camp out in the evening even without a sleeping bag? Along the ridge? Like at Cartolari? Is it infested with horseflies during the day? Thanks for the information you can give me, regards

Hi. On the Nebrodi ridge I have always bivouacked in a tent and in any case last year in July there was not a massive presence... they were sporadic. Instead I encountered a completely infested area on the Peloritani ridge between Mandanici and Fiumedinisi... in spring.
