Hiking
A quarry in Roman times and the Ottoman Empire, Tašmajdan became a cemetery in the 1820s/1830s. Due to poor hygienic conditions, the cemetery was relocated between 1886 and 1927. Tašmajdan is now a park. This was last redesigned in 2010, with Azerbaijan covering the costs. You can therefore see a monument to the Azerbaijani dictator Aliyev.
