The chapel, at an altitude of 1377 m, is located along an alpine itinerary of a certain importance already in medieval times. It was built in the second half of the seventeenth century on the initiative of the landowners of the upper valley, mostly residing in Chiandusseglio, and enlarged in 1820. It houses a beautiful cycle of frescoes with the Virgin and Child enthroned and Saints Anthony Abbot, Bartolomeo, Lorenzo and Bernard of Aosta
