Gravel riding
The palace is surrounded by a charming, wild landscape park with magnificent old trees. Most visitors only see the building from the outside, passing by the darkest memento of its former inhabitants. In the thickets, far from the front of the palace, the original tombs of the former owners are still hidden today: Gerhard von Negenborn (1864–1931) and Katharina von Eckhardtstein (1852–1925). The fact that these German gravestones survived the post-war wave of destruction of everything Prussian is nothing short of a miracle.
