From the Kalvarienberg near Alendorf, the view extends far beyond the gentle heights of the Dollendorf limestone basin. In the immediate vicinity, the juniper heaths of the Lampertstal shape the landscape. With good visibility, the Aremberg, Hohe Acht, and Nürburg can be seen on the horizon, among others. The Kalvarienberg is designated as an „Eifel-Blick“ and belongs to the „Lampertstal und Alendorfer Kalktriften“ nature reserve.
