The Aznalcázar Pine Forests Loop immerses you in a green oasis of stone pines and cork oaks, offering a welcome escape from the daily grind. The trails are mostly wide, sandy dirt tracks, very comfortable for walking, with the scent of Mediterranean scrub as a constant companion. It's a route that allows you to enjoy nature without great demands, ideal for unwinding and observing the rich biodiversity of the area.
This 11.0-kilometre hiking route, with an elevation gain of only 56 metres, can be completed in about 2 hours and 50 minutes, and is classified as moderate. It's perfect for beginners or a family stroll, as the terrain is gentle and accessible. The area is well-equipped with recreational zones, so plan your visit to enjoy a full day outdoors, preferably in spring or autumn for more pleasant weather.
What makes this trail special is its immense ecological value, being one of the most important forest areas in Seville and Andalusia's first "Scenic Route." Its proximity to the Doñana marshes and the Dehesa de Abajo contributes to astonishing biodiversity, with sightings of migratory birds like flamingos and storks, as well as mammals such as foxes and mongooses. It's a place where nature feels alive and protected.
