Gravel section for adventurers. GR93 from the Col de la Bataille to the Carrefour de la Carrière passing by the Ferme d'Ambel and the Tubanet refuge.
Simple from the Col de la Bataille then quite slippery in the undergrowth after the Pas du Gouillat (if recent rain), before arriving on the plateau. Very nice open view.
After the Ambel farm and up to the Tubanet refuge, expect steep climbs and much more challenging gravel. Plan to push in places unless development <1:1 and very good physical condition (uphill and downhill sections at 15% see 24%).
