An almost surreal place: From the edge of the forest, an almost black scree desert extends to the slopes of the Montaña Negra. It rises here sparsely into the blue sky. In the midst of this inhospitable landscape, however, a few isolated pines grow undeterred - their greenery clearly stands out against the black-gray background.
