Cycling

The Canons' Monastery, founded by Vicelin in Neumünster in 1125, moved to Bordesholm in 1330. The canons made an island in the Bordesholmer lake land-proof by means of three dams and built a church and monastery on it. The monastery church on Lindenplatz is the oldest existing monument in Bordesholm - built between 1230 and 1510.
