From the harbor you can reach the island of AMRUM and FÖHR with the big car ferries. In the vicinity there is a large parking lot and a direct railway connection at the ferry terminal. A very large (free) viewing platform offers a breathtaking view over the harbor, the town, the hinterland and the island of Föhr and the Halligen (Langeness).
