The Begijnenbeek flows into the Demer at the Saspoort in Diest. From there, upstream you will initially find the Beguinage of Diest, the provincial domain Halve Maan and the core and craft zone of Webbekom on your path. After that, however, you quickly enter an open and intact valley that is bordered by striking Diestian hills: the Kloosterberg and the Hermansheuvel on the right bank, the Luienberg on the left bank.
