This section is marked on the map as a main road but it isn't. It starts as a lovely gravel road but gradually losses it's width and quality to become single track and goat passage. Don't take me wrong, I enjoyed every minute of it but I love hills and I had enough time. There are some steep sections that you will have to push your loaded bike.
Plan you time accordingly so you can enjoy scenery and nature along the way. There are no stores or houses along the way so get your supplies beforehand.

Same opinion as Ivan in 2021. Hard off-road! Some cyclist won’t have to push, but most will have to.
Start early if you travel in summer. You are not going faster than 5-8km/h on this section.

I did this ride yesterday - 11th April 2026. I'm riding a Moustache electric assisted bike and I'm pretty heavily laden. Bags back and front. I made it through this section, but I fell off my bike when a branch caught me, and I had several near misses sliding in mud or getting stuck in hardened rutts. If this the kind of ride you're looking for, go for it, but I would categorise this as mountain bike territory, not simply off-road.
