"Zeesen: The great actor Gustav Gründgens once resided here (played Mephisto in Faust in the 30s). But for many years his vacant building in Zeesen has been decaying. Now salvation is finally in sight – from none other than the former squatters!

After multiple changes of ownership, Gustav Gründgens bought it in 1938 (not in a reputable way from a Jew).
"Effi Briest" was partly filmed here.
Now it is in private hands. What will become of it?
An retirement home, a hotel?
More details are not known and there is also no sign of a construction site yet.
