At the end of 2016, a new pavilion was made available to observe the life of the mandrills through the glass during the winter season. The facility was built under the supervision of the Gdańsk City Development Directorate, and the investment was financed by the City Hall. In 2017, a new house for the saber-horned antelope is put into operation and a new exhibition with a winter house for Kafrican hornbills is created. The zoo is enriched with new species - the Arizona Heloderma and the Sable Antelope.
