Here in Pian Schiaveneis (Monti Pallidi) the more strenuous and steeper part of the Sella Pass on the Fassa side begins. Some steeper ramps and some hairpin bends are also quite steep and strenuous. From Canazei to Monti Pallidi, however, the gradient of the road is around 6-7% and is quite pleasant.
