Schröderstrand is located directly at the Möltenort steamship dock, north of the fishing and yacht harbor. The narrow sandy beach and the meadow behind it can be used free of charge and an Eldorado for Pottkieker (northern German for "ship-watcher"). Cafés, restaurants, a kiosk, tourist information and sanitary facilities are in the immediate vicinity.
