Casera Bosconero is an alpine refuge, at an altitude of 1,457 m, located in a beautiful clearing at the foot of Rocchetta Alta, surrounded by Sasso di Bosconero, Sasso di Toanella and Sfornioi. The structure, managed by the CAI Val di Zoldo section, consists of 3 separate stone and wood buildings (central core, dormitories, educational room). Since 2006, it has been a research site for the University of Padua, with an important study on the integrated eco-sustainable management of urban solid waste and wastewater.
