The forest cemetery in Aumühle has existed since March 1911. The widow of Prince Herbert von Bismarck, Marguerite von Bismarck, in the name of her then 12-year-old son Otto, gave the Aumühle parish free of charge a forest area of 18,000 square meters for the cemetery and a further 17,000 square meters for the construction of the church and a community center.
Today it is a large, beautiful and very well-kept forest cemetery where you can take a little walk and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Very nice cemetery. An oasis of calm. Beautiful simple church, named Bismarck Gedächtniskirche.

Hiking
The church is an example of late expressionist architecture. Worth seeing.
