The beach at Lake Edsviken blends beautifully into the parkland surrounding the castle. The fountain in the lake is a particular eye-catcher. An idyllic place to linger.

The municipality owns the estate today and rents it to Säby Waldorfförskola, a Waldorf preschool that fills the main house and one of the wings with daily life. Säby gård has been a protected heritage site since 1983 and lies right in the peaceful surroundings of the Järvafältet nature reserve.

Around Översjön there are several barbecue areas directly by the lake. Please be aware, that lighting fires is only allowed in these designated areas (but also depending on seasonal circumstances). This place is always perfect for a little break, though. :-)
