This mill was built in 1787 for one of the deepest polders in the Rhineland (polder, so not a reclaimed land). This mill was in operation until 1924, in that year the drainage was taken over by a motor pumping station. This mill was probably also quite heavy, with an auger of approximately 1 meter in diameter. Decline quickly set in: although the wicker cross was renewed in 1955, deterioration followed in 1957. After that, the hull served as a summer residence for a long time.
