The Dosenmoor is highly recommended. It's enormous, and along the nature trail you can walk on a boardwalk into the moor. Recommended in every season.

There are several options for parking your car. I found a charging station in Einfeld. Depending on the route you're taking, you can also park your car in Einfeld. There's a small parking lot right at the entrance to the moor.

The information board is located at the entrance if you are coming from Bordesholm from the north. You can't see the moor very well from the board yet. Just a few steps further and it opens up.

I was there at the end of November in a light drizzle. The bench wasn't very inviting as a result. But still: a beautiful landscape, even in gloomy November weather. Highly recommended. Under no circumstances should you leave the paths.

The moor is well-equipped with information panels. This one also explains the Wattenbeck staff. It appears to be a very old, treated staff that has survived the centuries in the moor remarkably well.

The Dosenmoor is enormous (the largest in Schleswig-Holstein). It's almost a shame the boardwalk is so short. Anyway, the short stretch is beautiful (I was there in November during a drizzle) and shouldn't be missed.

Not really a parking space, but plenty of room to park your car. Provided your car has four-wheel drive and plenty of ground clearance.
