The Wattenbeker Stab is a find from the moor. It is a shepherd's crook or a kind of throwing stick made of nut wood. I like the information boards that pass this knowledge on to interested people in a simple way.

A chance find in the moor turns out to be a historical sensation: people and animals are artistically carved on the stick in a hunting scene. C14 analyzes later dated the staff's wood to 221 CE.
