The Contreras reservoir is located between the municipalities of Villargordo del Cabriel in the province of Valencia and La Pesquera, Mira, Enguídanos and Minglanilla in the province of Cuenca, Spain. It was built in 1972. Slightly downstream from the dam is the Contreras bridge, built between 1845 and 1851.
