A nice and undemanding walk without going too far, beautiful views... it's a shame that the old military building and the cannons, machine gun nests, underground galleries that connected everything are not better preserved... but it's worth going!!! From the La Cuesta neighborhood, just before reaching La Arena beach, we parked in a parking lot indicated by signs when entering the neighborhood. We went up a path that we didn't know that goes up the mountain through the mountains (improvisation) and down a paved path that we already knew with views of the Santurtzi Superport.

The Sardinera Park is located in Santurtzi, in the Kai-Alde. You can reach it by going up Capital Mendizabal street. This park, recently renovated, is known for housing the Monument to the Sardinera, erected in 1964 in honor of the sardine farmers, who made this municipality famous with their work. The park has gardens, benches and a small closed playground for the little ones. From it you have magnificent views of the Port of Bilbao.

Located within the commercial port of Bilbao, this Municipal marina was inaugurated in 2005. Regardless of its location in the heart of the port, it maintains its traditional charm accompanied by a gastronomic offer based on its seafaring tradition. Its great handicap is the passage under the bridges of the highway that serves the Bilbao port. Its prop is scarce so that it always prevents the passage of sailboats and motor boats must install folding antennas. Its draft problems at low tide have been solved with the latest dredging.
