I believe these were benches, though the stones have inscriptions referencing God or Jesus. The surface is smooth, and they are situated right by the lake. These benches are available throughout the path, located in various spots.

It is a wide trail along the lake, suitable for walks in all seasons. I visited once during winter and the view was amazing. There are many spots along the path where you can take a dip or swim. I noticed many benches along the way, perfect for sitting and enjoying the scenery.
