On my visit today, the weir was closed. Why, I don't know, because the path behind it and in front of it were both passable without any major restrictions. So just be brave and crawl underneath.

A truly beautiful stretch along the Schnelle Havel River—a highlight especially for birdwatchers. The meadow path becomes somewhat overgrown in places in summer. Wear long pants, and don't forget to check yourself for ticks afterward! There is exactly one swimming spot along this stretch. Swimming is recommended at other locations to protect nature.

Swimming is expressly permitted at this point on the Schnelle Havel. There's a small natural beach and benches here. However, please be aware of the wildlife living in the surrounding reeds and behave with caution.

There is a solid bridge over the Aalkastenfließ, which is not yet known to Komoot.

Super nice path to walk! However, there may be cattle in the meadows in summer and you should avoid the old paved path.
