Long Beach Boardwalk is a wide, pedestrian-friendly path perfect for a run, relaxing bike ride or walk along the ocean. Stretching for over 2 miles, it offers fresh sea air, beach access, and plenty of spots to stop for food or drinks. Early mornings are quieter, while afternoons can get busier.

For New York city it is a nice beach. Emphasis on New York considering how bad other beaches are. Don’t go into the forest area at the end of peninsula. You’ll be eaten alive by mosquitoes. Over all one of the best rides New York offers especially if you are staying or living in Brooklyn. I recommend to start as early as possible.

Willow Pond and Macy Channel are separated by Everit Avenue and are surrounded by green lawns and a variety of different types of trees. Both bodies of water are surrounded by large homes, and Macy Channel is lined with docks.

This park has the rare view of the Reynolds Channel, as most of the shore is lined with property. If you'd like to get the full view, jump off the bike and head into the park on foot.
