The four of us had an absolutely fantastic meal there. Both the fish and meat dishes were cooked to perfection. The starters and desserts were also very tasty. All Demeter-certified. It's not exactly cheap, but it was incredibly good.

Equipped with new windows at the top, it offers a 360-degree view. Panoramic images are displayed below the windows to show what you can see when the weather is good. The tower is open from April to October from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and admission is free.

haertera has said everything about it, so it's not a hiking highlight.

The trail park at the Schwanner Warte stretches out into the forest between the observation tower, the transformer station and the adjacent meadows. There are 3 "lines" to choose from: Jumpline, Flowline and Natureline. While the Jumpline is self-explanatory in name, the Flowline contains smaller jumps and last but not least, the Natureline offers a natural ride on forest floor "over hill and dale." Watch out for hikers and walkers at the exit 😊

Actually, the correct answer is 'the Great Enz'! Because it is only at the point where the Kleiner Enz and the Great Enz flow together that it is then called (just) 'The Enz'. This confluence is about 10km further to the northeast in the town of Calmbach.
