Very lovely food and ideal to end a hike like the Hardangerjøkulen round. The dinner is lovely and the main course we could take as much as we wanted at once, making us completly full. Due to weather our gear was very wet, but multiple drying rooms allowed us to dry up ready for the last section of the trail. The morning breakfast is also very good, i recommend the chia seeds oatmeal with some cherry jam and other if you prefer. The common area has nice seating and a dining area with beautiful views of the glaciers in the distance with the lake right out front.

After all, it goes uphill from Finse by 73 m, which is hardly noticeable except for a short section behind Finse, as the Rallervegen follows the track of the old Bergen railway line. As in many places, here too a magnificent view over the high plateau is offered.
