The Katz family lived at times at Bahnhofstr. 29A. The couple Masha and Julius Katz had two children. Daughter Antonie was able to flee to England in 1938. Son Abraham was arrested twice. After his second arrest, he was murdered in 1942 in the KZ Sachsenhausen. The Katz couple was deported in 1941 and imprisoned in various concentration camps. Both survived the concentration camps and later returned to Lehrte.
