This is an S3 or higher. Calling this trail a Shared Trail is wrong. The thing is barely rideable even for pros because it is too narrow, for example. Partially there are climbing ropes and stirrups in the rock… sorry, it's no fun

Too crazy!! For me

Extremely difficult trail, especially because it is so narrow and you can hardly ride different lines. It is also not secured anywhere and is far too narrow for a downhill trail. There are no safety devices or safety nets anywhere. If you are unsure or fall somewhere 90% of the way along the trail, that's it because you'll fly down the steep slope. I'm not surprised that all the bikers who come here only ride the trail once and then never again. I'm really good on the bike but even I had my problems. The curves and features are great and easy to ride but if you make even one mistake, that's really it!

The view in the morning, when the clouds rise from Lake Ossiach, is amazing. It is definitely worth it. It is nice to watch the paragliders. You can also eat well at the summit.

Beautiful, quiet town, overlooking a splendid lake, at the foot of fantastic mountains, such as Mirnock where you can practice many sporting activities.

This is perhaps the hardest trail in the area which alternates flow sections where you need to let go of the brakes, with more technical sections where you need to be careful. Comfortable climb either partly along a dirt road or completely on asphalt.

You descend from the Kaiserburg on the longest flow trail in Europe to a crossroads on the left to find the "Rossalmhuttentrail" (signed T8), further down at a certain point you come across the crossroads for "Alter Almweg-trail" on the left (T1 ). This results in a magnificent descent of around 1000 metres, among the most beautiful in the area.

BC Trail Safari checkpoint: 'Free as a bird. Show us your flying skills at the panoramic jump on the PROlitzen. Use the trail name as a #hashtag.' Danger! The PROlitzen Trail is only suitable for VERY advanced riders.

The Weissenstein Bike Trail offers a brand-new route with a flow trail character, designed for all skill levels from beginners to experienced riders. You'll find fast descents, flowing curves, and technical passages. Some sections feature a rough descent on stony ground, and there's a ridge with a very steep decline, though bypass options are available for less experienced riders. The trail spans five kilometers and overcomes 612 meters of elevation.
Convenient access to the Weissenstein Bike Trail is provided by the Weissenstein cable car. It transports riders directly to the starting point at the mountain station, allowing you to enjoy multiple runs without the strenuous climb. The cable car can transport a maximum of two bikes per gondola, attached to the exterior, with a weight limit of 25kg per bike.
Yes, for families, the Kanzelbahn Mountain Station is a great option. It offers various small children's MTB trails, a tire slide, and a marble run at the foot of the Kanzelbahn. The Weissenstein Bike Trail itself also caters to beginners with its flow trail character and bypass options on challenging sections.
For experienced riders seeking a challenge, the Kaiserburg to Feld am See Trail Descent (S1–S3) offers single trail sections with S1/2 difficulty and short S3 steps, including roots and rubble. Another demanding option is the T25 Sternetrail, rated S2-2.5, which features very steep parts and heels of 20-30cm, making it unsuitable for beginners. The Panorama Jump on the ProLitzen Trail is considered extremely difficult and is only suitable for very advanced riders due to its narrowness and challenging features.
While riding the Weissenstein Bike Trail, you are treated to breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps and the Mittelland. The trail is well-integrated into the natural Jura landscape. Additionally, the Kanzelbahn Mountain Station offers a nice view of the ski slope and surrounding mountains, and the Feld am See settlement is surrounded by high mountain peaks and features the Brennsee, perfect for relaxing after a tour.
At the mountain station of the Weissenstein cable car, which is the starting point for the bike trail, visitors can find refreshment options and enjoy panoramic views. The trail itself is free to use.
The Weissenstein Bike Trail is free to use but must be ridden during the cable car's operating hours; riding is prohibited during dusk and at night. Bikers are advised to wear helmets and protectors, know their limits, and ride only with an intact mountain bike.
