According to our guide, it's a 5-star restaurant where the dress code must be respected. Just 100 meters away, you can enjoy the same chef's cuisine at the bistro, but without the dress code.

Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 is located in New Orleans' Garden District and was established in 1833. On a single block, there are approximately 1,100 family plots, many of which have been used for generations. The cemetery is known for its dense development, clearly structured pathways, and some of the elaborately designed gravesites. The site has been used as a filming location several times: scenes for Interview with the Vampire, Double Jeopardy, The Originals, and Dracula 2000, among others, were shot here.

This pleasant park in the heart of Uptown New Orleans is mostly frequented by residents and students from the nearby Tulane and Loyola universities, although tourists also come to admire its magnificent oak trees. The park has a 1.8-mile paved loop that is most useful for jogging and rollerblading but can be cycled as well for a quick tour of the park.

Nice run goal, or runway, if you like less through the city. Has a special flair in the dark, the partially illuminated trees are very impressive.

In the charming Garden District, oak-shaded streets are lined with a diverse mix of homes, from single-story cottages to the grand historic mansions and lavish gardens of St. Charles Avenue. Take the St Charles Streetcar so that you can view the houses and just get off when you want to take a closer look.

Historic 19th-century cemetery with above-ground tombs & statuary characteristic of the area. Address: 1416-1498 Washington Ave, New Orleans, LA 70130, USA. I visited in October 2018, and it was very warm, so make sure you have water. There was a guy selling small bottles for one dollar so not bad, and it was cool. The Cemetery is large and well worth a visit.

Beautiful homes in large lots, old trees, worn streetwalks, and many historic landmarks, the Garden District is one of the best places to visit in New Orleans. Take your time and stroll around. For refreshments and some shopping head south to Magazine Street. To get there consider the St. Charles Line Trolleys.

Opening hours 9 AM to 3PM. Well worth the visit. Very old gravestones and a few newer ones.
