A perfect crossing point through the Jura area. A nice and gentle climb up to 1033m quite doable from both sides.

The church was built in the 15th century and enlarged and supplemented in the 16th century with gifts from Cardinal Granvelle (the bell tower and the spire in local tuff). Pay special attention to the woodwork (altarpiece, choir stalls, confessional, pulpit and the wooden statues (13th and 14th centuries).

The tuyés are the large towers which stand in the center of the old farms and in which the meat was smoked. Impossible not to stop at the tuyé du Papy Gaby. This Franche-Comté cured institution is also a museum and offers free tours and tastings.

A little corner of freshness which is very welcome in summer. From here you see the Dessoubre river being born in a succession of small waterfalls which emanate from the rocks of the Cirque de Consolation.
