Between Lüchow and Wustrow the tracks of the railway line that connected Lüchow and Salzwedel are still almost continuous. In many places there are also signs at level crossings. In the meantime, a strip of trees has formed here, in which the nightingales feel comfortable.

The Jeetze (also: Jeetzel) rises near the village of Altferchau near Klötze in Saxony-Anhalt and flows into the Elbe near Hitzacker after about 73 kilometers. It flows through Salzwedel, Wustrow, Lüchow in Wendland, and Dannenberg.

Gothic brick church built around 1460. However, the year 1518 is assumed to be the year of construction, since the church was redesigned in that year. The church was also destroyed in a major fire in Wustrow in 1691. It was rebuilt around 1700.
