A great mountain shelter in Jodłówka Tucholska at an altitude of 508 m above sea level. You will eat well here and there are also accommodations - take a look at the mountain shelter's website http://www.brzanka.pl/ You are of course in a beautiful natural environment: beautiful green trees everywhere (in winter it will probably be snowy and white here), and the panorama from the top is so extraordinary that you are already being born into another Adam Mickiewicz! There is a great observation tower nearby, which of course you are already climbing.

Quite a steep climb, but the castle and views are worth the effort.

There is parking on the back road which is then a fairly level walk to the tower. If you park by the restaurant on the main road it is a steep & muddy when wet climb up to the site.

It is not without reason that Ignacy Jan Paderewski has his monument in Więcowice. For some time in his life, he was closely associated with the town and made a great contribution to the Więcwicka region.

The castle is almost completely rebuilt, a beautiful view of the Dunajec and Zakliczyn

Melsztyn Castle was restored in 2022 and again in 2023 when the roof on the residential tower was completed. The castle can now be visited again without restrictions. Entry is free and possible at any time because the entire area is under video surveillance.
