Beautiful fieldstone church from the 13th century. In front of it, as is common in small villages, is the war memorial for those who fell in the First World War.

The Gielsdorf village church in Altlandsberg is a late Romanesque fieldstone building from the 13th century and is considered one of the historic churches in the Märkisch-Oderland region. It was built as a typical hall building with a nave, rectangular chancel, semicircular apse, and a west tower, which was later given a half-timbered top. In the 15th century, the noble von Pfuel family assumed patronage of the church. Several valuable furnishings date from this period. Of particular note is a carved altar from around 1500, which was transferred to Gielsdorf from the Wilkendorf village church in 1975. It depicts the crescent-moon Madonna and figures of the apostles. The furnishings are complemented by a Renaissance pulpit from the 17th century and a gravestone for Wilhelm von Pfuel († 1608) on the north side of the church. Extensive renovations took place between 2012 and 2014. Today, the church serves not only as a place of worship, but also as an "art church" where concerts and exhibitions are held. Thus, it has become a cultural meeting place on the historic village green.

The Protestant church dates from the middle of the 13th century and was built as a rectangular fieldstone building with a recessed choir. Two round-arched south portals from the time of construction are still preserved and recognizable.
