June 3, 2026, View of Trinity Bay and Cairns Airport

Here there is a great lookout point over Trinity Bay, with Cairns Airport also in the distance. Generally, a viewpoint over an airport doesn't sound too scenic or serene, but this view is the exception. It is definitely a spot worth pausing for.

The Yellow Arrow Track is generally considered an easy route, though the switchback sections may prove difficult for some. You can take the track as a 3.8-kilometre out and back hike, or combine it with the other trails in the park for a longer looped hike.
