Druridge Bay Country Park is a popular location for water sports in the lake, dog walkers and ramblers and people walking. Many families tend to be here t the weekends. The photo is taken at a rest area over looking the beach and sea, there are benches here and the views are very good, you can see up and down the bay area. Nice sandy beaches always have many people walking along them

Despite being rammed during the Covid outbreak, if you persevere and travel 1/2mile beyond the car parking areas, you will find peaceful, unspoilt beach. Look for the wooden signpost just near a footbridge - this is usually far enough along for peace and quiet. The cycle way which runs along the length of the bay is very easy gravel path, suitable for all. Just watch for pedestrians and the infernal dogs on extendable tripwires!
