Best accessed following the footpath sign from the main road. Small pebble beach with some nice views and the odd boat that uses the bay for shelter.

Discover the charming village of Portnalong (Port nan Long, meaning “harbour of the ships”) on the Isle. Nestled on the shores of Loch Harport, this picturesque spot offers stunning views and a rich history. Established by crofters in 1921, it played a key role during WWII. Enjoy the scenic beauty and local hospitality at the Taigh Ailean Hotel.

lovely little crossing with even some sandy beaches - but only during low tide. So well worth checking in advance to time your visit. The views are stunning all around, so a day with good weather is well preferable.

Great little spot indeed - it does get a good amount of traffic though, so you won't quite have it to yourself in the high season.

What a great spot - well worth the little stroll out there. Do watch the tide times though!
